BRICK recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary in San Diego with a breathtaking celestial-themed open house, brilliantly (if we do say so ourselves!) designed by our in-house team at 828 Planning. This event seamlessly blended romance, elegance, and wonder, creating a truly magical experience.
A Celestial Vision
The event drew inspiration from one of BRICK’s first events, incorporating a stunning balloon ceiling installation. This time, new layers of stars, moons, and cosmic motifs were added, bridging the past and future in a cohesive and awe-inspiring celebration.
The choice of silver and blue as the anniversary colors perfectly complemented the celestial theme. The dark, sophisticated atmosphere was exactly what we envisioned for this memorable event.
SD Social Lights provided floating lanterns on the ceiling, creating the illusion of a star-filled sky that immediately captivated guests upon arrival. Disco balls added an extra layer of sparkle, enhancing the celestial atmosphere.
Astrological motifs, crescent moons, crystals, and tarot cards added mysticism and depth, while moody lighting and romantic florals created intimacy and wonder.
Platinum Event Rentals and Wonder Event Rentals elevated the celestial theme through two distinct table scapes. One design featured deep purple linen, evoking a rich, regal atmosphere, while the exposed dark wood table offered a more natural, organic feel.
The Floral Craft provided enchanting florals in deep purple, lavender, and silvery whites, evoking the richness of the night sky. Darker foliage contrasted beautifully with the flowers, ensuring a balanced, celestial feel.
A Dream Team of Vendors
BRICK and 828 Planning partnered with several vendors to create engaging and immersive experiences for our guests:
- The Floracle offered flower tarot card readings.
- Fuze Jewelry provided permanent jewelry services.
- Diamond Daughters showcased various engagement and wedding bands.
- The Floral Craft designed a beautiful moon photo backdrop for guests to capture memorable moments.
Guests enjoyed a variety of delicious treats from Culinary Concepts, Personal Touch Dining, TOAST Catering, VG Donuts, Snoice for Boba, and specialty beverages from BRICK Beverage.
DJ Artform played a diverse array of songs, keeping the crowd happy and engaged. Rachael Marie Photography captured the event’s design perfectly, framing starry lanterns, disco balls, and the moon backdrop with a dreamlike quality. Willmus Creative created video content that told the story of our celebration from entrance to exit.
Our dream team of vendors brought BRICK’s 10th Anniversary Celebration to life in the most memorable way possible. This celestial-themed event was a stunning success, filled with romance, elegance, and wonder.
