Regency Romance: A Bridgerton-Inspired Event at BRICK

March 19, 2024

BRICK’s “Regency Romance” themed Open House was inspired by the oh-so romantic Netflix series, Bridgerton.

Obsessed with the regal drama and period piece décor elements, BRICK Planning wanted to design a vintage-feel event while incorporating modern takes on Regency-era styles.

Through lush floral designs, stationery, cakes, antique furniture, and an epic ceremony installation from our Epic Vendor partners, the vision of this event truly captured the essence of the beloved series.

The color palette included pastel hues such as pink, peach, blue, yellow, and lavender. Archive Rentals filled BRICK with vintage-inspired furniture including luxurious sofas and chairs, distressed tables and dressers, classic arched mirrors, antique table decor, and more.

Lyanne’s Touch created Lady Whistledown-inspired societal papers, including signage, social invitations and menus to recreate the Bridgerton look.

MR Floral and Events designed soft, romantic floral arrangements and foliage, creating a delicate and sophisticated design. The ceremony space featured a circular ceremony with a cascading floral chandelier installation and surrounding candles to give BRICK a whimsical and garden-like feel.

A variety of lighting elements were an essential part of setting the mood. The combination of elegant candelabras, candles, and tealights created a warm and romantic atmosphere. My Marquee SD also brought in marquee letters spelling out “I Burn For You,” as a node to the series’ well-known phrase.

Guests indulged in an array of elegant and refined bites from Coast Catering, Culinary Concepts, decadent desserts by Jenny Wenny, VG Donut & Bakery, and inspired cocktails from BRICK Beverage. In the spirit of the era; specialty drinks were cleverly named “Diamond of the Season” and “Scandalous Soiree.” These creative cocktails included champagne, berries, and a lavender garnish.

To showcase a variety of entertainment, BRICK partnered with Left Coast Quintet to showcase classical music, and Ansom Productions for more modern tunes.

Pop-up shops included attire and accessories from Onyx Bridal and Kendra Scott, allowing guests to shop for elegant wedding pieces.

A custom border with romantic fonts and floral illustrations was incorporated into BRICK’s photo booth to help guests capture memories from the evening. BRICK Planning designed a gold-trimmed mylar tape installation around the dance floor, which included elegant lines for an elevated and classic look.

Each element of the event came together to pay homage to the drama and romance of the Bridgerton series and inspired the engaged couples in attendance with different ways to share their own love story.
