The inspiration for Laurel & Adam’s wedding was romantic ambience. With endless amounts of glowing candles and greenery, their wedding was a stunning and moody display of everything the couple had envisioned.
The couple knew that they couldn’t bring their vision to life alone, and hired BRICK Planning to help design and coordinate their day.
Embracing Laurel’s Armenian culture, the couple decided to get married in St. Sarkis Armenian Church. Laurel grew up attending church here, along with many friends and family members. Laurel’s aunt even helped design the architecture during the church’s remodel!
Professional opera singers sung for the ceremony, and as part of Armenian tradition, their priest placed crowns on the couple’s heads to symbolize the fact that they now have their own “kingdom.”
After taking post-ceremony photos down by the water, Laurel and Adam arrived at BRICK and were overjoyed at the site of the gorgeous reception design!
Their reception was an intimate affair with just under 150 guests, and completely romanticized their special day.
Greenery lined the ceiling and walls, along with gorgeous candlelight, and blush and maroon-toned florals by Tiny Victories. The tables were adorned in black velvet linens, blush table runners, loose greenery and flowers — and over 400 candles!
Two chandeliers highlighted the dual head tables, while a large display of greenery and antique style lanterns highlighted the chic, black dance floor.

Custom signage was designed by Lyanne’s Touch for a backdrop, signature drinks, place cards, seating chart and table designators.
In place of traditional table numbers, the couple had each table themed as their favorite TV shows.
Dinner service was a delicious plated meal by Coast Catering, while the dessert table was full of yummy donuts from VG Donut, and Sees chocolate candies.
BRICK Beverage served signature cocktails, beer and wine behind a gorgeous display.
Their photo booth from Pixster was inspired by the Kardashians, and each guest received a glamorous black and white filter on their photo!
For a late night snack, In-N-Out delivered tasty burgers and fries, which were highly appreciated by the many out-of-town guests.
At the end of the glamorous evening, the couple said their goodbyes, and departed in a vintage style car.
