Karter and Thomas’s wedding was a truly enchanting event, filled with love, laughter, and an abundance of happy tears. Their special day, meticulously planned by BRICK + 828 Planning, was a beautiful reflection of their colorful love story and vibrant personalities.
A Love Story Like No Other
Karter and Thomas’s journey began at a singer-songwriter competition at their college, where they both emerged as winners. Karter’s song, about a boy she was in love with but hadn’t met yet, resonated deeply with Thomas, who humorously claimed the song was about him.
Years later, Thomas crafted a song for Karter, reminiscing about their first kiss on a friend’s couch at a Halloween party. This couch, immortalized in a ceramic model gifted by their friend, symbolized their journey and became a cherished keepsake on their wedding day. Both songs played during the reception, beautifully narrating their love story to their guests.
A Vibrant, Dreamy Design
Karter and Thomas envisioned a wedding filled with romantic yet bold pastels, and BRICK’s versatile space provided the perfect canvas. Pink and sage green tones adorned the decor, creating a soft, dreamy ambiance that mirrored the couple’s timeless and whimsical essence.
Platinum Event Rentals draped the ceiling structure with fabric, adding elegance and flair, while MR Floral’s blooms accented the door frames, infusing the space with vibrant colors.
The guest tables were a visual delight, featuring colorful napkins, candles, and trendy bud vases. Light wood tables, bold chairs, and a colorful lounge from Cedar & Pine added warmth and character to the setting. BRICK’s classic mylar tape dance floor served as a stunning design staple and provided a dedicated dancing zone for the guests to enjoy.
Epic Vendors for a Seamless Celebration
Karter and Thomas chose to exclusively use BRICK’s Epic Vendors, ensuring a smooth and flawless wedding day. Mexico City Cuisine catered the event with a buffet-style service, creating a fun and social atmosphere that kept guests mingling and enjoying themselves. For a late-night snack, Woodstocks provided delicious pizza, keeping the energy high and the party going.
Desserts were a delightful affair, featuring a cake and yummy bites from VG Donut & Bakery. The couple also shared their favorite cookie recipe, baking treats for their guests to savor. An adorable Audio Message Lip Phone allowed guests to leave heartfelt messages for the newlyweds, a cherished keepsake for Karter and Thomas to treasure. To encourage participation, guests wore lip stickers throughout the evening, adding a playful touch to the celebration.

Karter embodied elegance in a beautifully embellished pearl veil and a dress with long, romantic sleeves, perfectly complementing the whimsical wedding theme. Her look was both timeless and enchanting, much like the love story she and Thomas share.
